Baker – Full Time Permanent (Nights)
Due to continued demand and the need to strengthen our bakery team, we are looking for an experienced, skilled and passionate Baker to join Shelleys Bakery on a full time, permanent basis.
We are looking for someone who is confident and proficient in traditional bakery techniques, including hand moulding and producing a range of artisan, speciality and traditional breads.
Sourdough is a key part of our product range, so proven experience in sourdough production is essential.
The Role
- Full time, permanent position
- Night work is required, no split shifts
- One shift each week will involve working independently, as the other baker will have their regular day off
- Producing consistently high quality breads and bakery products
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
- Working as part of a small, hardworking and dedicated bakery team
What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will have:
- Proven professional bakery experience
- Strong knowledge of traditional bread making techniques
- Excellent hand moulding skills
- Experience producing artisan and speciality breads
- Strong sourdough experience
- A genuine passion for producing high quality bakery products
- The ability to work independently and use initiative
- Reliability, honesty and a strong work ethic
- Commitment to maintaining the standards of Shelleys Bakery

Pay: £12.75-£14.50 per hour
