We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Logistics and Warehouse team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to lead day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective warehouse operations while supporting business objectives and customer requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with management and cross-functional teams to oversee material movements, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance are achieved. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay & Benefits:
- £17.06 per hour, 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm as core hours of the business
- Quarterly bonus scheme of up to £300 per quarter!
Key responsiblities:
- Support and oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
- Lead and coordinate material movement activities to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
- Assign tasks and supervise warehouse team members to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Train, develop, and support employees to build capability and maintain high performance standards.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and other departments to coordinate the movement of goods throughout the business.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
- Communicate regularly with management on warehouse performance, issues, and improvement initiatives.
- Support departmental cost analysis and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling processes.
- Manufacturing environment experience is essential.
- Valid forklift licence and relevant driving experience.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
