We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and physically fit Property Clearance & Waste Collection Operative to join our team, covering Reading and the surrounding areas.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for carrying out property clearances and general waste collections while providing an excellent level of customer service. This is a physically demanding but highly rewarding role that offers variety and the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team. From time to time, the role will require travelling to various locations, including longer-distance journeys, to carry out waste collections and property clearances.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience driving 3.5-tonne vehicles or larger.
- A clean driving record with no major endorsements (minimal penalty points considered).
- A professional, punctual, and customer-focused attitude.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Experience in the waste management industry or another physically demanding role is an advantage, although full training will be provided.
- Must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.
- Successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.
