Job description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business development manager to join a family owned and run Catering Butchers based in Leeds. Serving all styles of catering outlets within Yorkshire.
As a fast growing business eager to grow further we are looking for an individual who is capable of driving aggressive sales growth in a structured and profitable manner.
As a Business Manager you will:
- Be responsible for your own Food-service Accounts, targeted on profitable retention of existing accounts and new account gains.
- Visit some existing customers to develop and manage to their full potential.
- Identify new business and gain new accounts.
- Maintain and develop new and existing customer relationships.
- Contribute towards the achievement of reaching sales targets within the business.
- Generate growth in turnover and profit margin.
The ideal Business Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience of Business development within Butchery or foodservice.
- Previous knowledge and experience of working within sales, managing a portfolio of existing customers.
- A passion for food and learning about fresh meat products and solutions.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Enthusiastic approach to sales and customer service.
- Driven to be successful.
- Experience of dealing with local businesses.
- Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is essential.
A company car can be arranged or a mileage allowance to be discussed at interview.
