We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Chef / CDP to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to specified recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring consistency and presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor ingredients stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Support the team during service hours, including plating and garnishing dishes
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of food and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant or culinary experience is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are advantageous but not essential
