Class 2 Driver – Double Manned
Pay: £15.50 per hour (£17.37 per hour including holiday pay)
We are currently looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers to join a double-manned delivery operation delivering doors and windows.
The Role
- Double-manned driving team, with driving duties split equally between both drivers
- Shifts start at approximately 3:00pm
- Return to the depot at around 10:00am
- Delivering doors and windows to customers
- Working as part of a two-driver team
- Loading and unloading deliveries
Pay for All Time in the Truck
You are paid for all the time you spend in the truck, not just the time you are driving.
This means you are paid while your driving partner is driving as well as when you are behind the wheel.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (C) licence
- Minimum 12 months of commercial Class 2 driving experience
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working as part of a double-manned team
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading
- Good customer service skills
Pay
- £15.50 per hour
- £17.37 per hour including holiday pay
