Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, in a fast paced area
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS systems, ensuring accurate billing and change handling.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to legal alcohol service guidelines.
- Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a lively, positive environment that encourages guest satisfaction and repeat visits.
Skills
- Strong background of minimum 5 years in serving drinks unsupervised with excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and drink measurements under pressure.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members alike.
- Familiarity with serving techniques and bar equipment operation including changing barrels and gas cylinders and restocking drinks.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, and move stock when relevant
- Weekend and evening availability is essential
