We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Mill House, Birtley. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in management within hospitality environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support daily operations, supervise staff, and contribute to the overall success of our pub.
Duties include;
- Assist day to day operations of the premises, working closely with the manager/owner
- Supervise and motivate team members with a positive working environment and promoting teamwork
- Ensure high standards are consistently maintained across all areas
- Opening and closing the premises, including cash handling and end of day procedures
- Handle customer queries, complaints and escalations with professionalism
- Help monitor stock levels and ordering
