Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and cleaning products as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines to ensure consistent cleanliness throughout the facility
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and efficiency
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, and lifting
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
