Role Background
The Business Development Assistant will join the Income Generation Team and work alongside the Head of Income Generation and Corporate Partnership Lead. The Income Generation Team drives the charitys fundraising success by developing supporter relationships, delivering campaigns and events, and securing income from individuals, communities, businesses and trusts and foundations. The team works collaboratively to maximise opportunities, grow sustainable revenue, and ensure our mission has the resources it needs to thrive.
Role Purpose
To provide administrative and operational support to the Income Generation team, assisting with lead generation, client relationship management, market research and business growth initiatives.

Identify and help secure potential supporters, partners, and suppliers whose values and objectives align with BDC Mind, contributing to sustainable income growth and enhanced organisational impact.

Deliver a responsive, professional, and supportive experience for supporters and stakeholders through effective management of Income Generation communications.

Maintain accurate, current, and accessible CRM records to support informed decision-making, effective relationship management, and compliance requirements.

Ensure business development opportunities are effectively monitored and progressed, enabling the organisation to maximise fundraising and partnership potential.

Contribute to the successful delivery of fundraising events that generate income, raise awareness of BDC Mind, and provide a positive experience for participants and supporters.

Produce high-quality correspondence, reports, and business development materials that support fundraising objectives and stakeholder engagement.

Support the successful planning and delivery of campaigns and events that enhance income generation, community engagement, and organisational visibility.

Contribute to the development of engaging promotional and communication materials that increase awareness, encourage participation, and strengthen BDC Minds profile.

Provide accurate performance data and management information that enables effective monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement of income generation activities.

Ensure all records, documentation, and reporting information are accurate, compliant, and readily available to support operational effectiveness.

Maintain the availability, quality, and organisation of income generation equipment, merchandise, and promotional materials to support successful fundraising and engagement activities.

Qualifications
Essential:

Evidence of literacy and numeracy sufficient to produce accurate correspondence, reports, and records.
- Relevant training, vocational qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in administration, business development, fundraising, customer service, marketing, communications, or a related field.
