BIN CLEANING OPERATIVE/DRIVER

A family owned and run company, 23 years in business. Developed from a one man band to a close-knit team of seven cleaners.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A reliable, committed person who is good at being adaptable and managing their frustrations. Must be a confident driver with no points on their licence, a minimum of 1 year since passed driving test and aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Follow a daily round sheet (provided via APP) to clean residential and commercial bins across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & South Oxfordshire
- Clean and maintain van, machine and yard
- Assist with marketing duties through tagging, canvassing and social media content
Working Hours (4-Weekly Cycle):
- 3 weeks: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (4 days)
- 1 week: Monday through Friday (5 days)
- Average: 40 hours per week
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary of £27,500 per annum
- Performance bonus of £1.00 per bin after 80 bins cleaned per day
- £100 monthly attendance bonus
- Commission for new customer sign-ups
- A competitive 297.5 hours of Holiday. A compulsory 170 hours to be taken over Christmas & New Year as the company closes for 4 weeks.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Full UK Driving Licence - 3 points maximum, preferably none!
- No history of drink or drug driving offences or criminal convictions (past or pending).
- Minimum of 1 year driving experience (for insurance purposes).
- Aged 21 or older (for insurance purposes).
- Confident driving skills
- Personal phone with sufficient data and proficiency using Apps.
- Own vehicle for commuting to work
