Package: FTE£24,720 basic salary with FT O.T.E £35,000+ (uncapped commissions)

We’re looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our growing team in Denton.
This is not a passive admin role. It’s a fast-paced, commercially focused collections role where you’ll take ownership of your ledger, build professional client relationships, and drive successful fee recovery.

The Role:
You’ll manage your own portfolio of client accounts, ensuring prompt collection of outstanding success fees while maintaining professional and commercially effective communication.
This role involves a mixture of phone-based collections work, account management, query resolution, and proactive debtor management.
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Managing your own debtor ledger end-to-end
· Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
· Building professional relationships with clients
· Negotiating payment resolutions effectively
· Resolving invoice and account queries quickly
· Keeping accurate records of all communications
· Identifying potential payment risks early
· Supporting wider team collection targets and performance
Ideal Experience
· Previous experience in Credit Control, Collections, or Accounts Receivable
· Experience working within a B2B environment
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Confident telephone manner
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail
· Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook
· Sage experience beneficial but not essential
