Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support the implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
- Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring safe transportation and support
- Use IT systems to update records, document care provided, and manage schedules efficiently
- Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety procedures, and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for those new to the field
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely are preferred for supporting home care clients
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Basic IT literacy for maintaining accurate records and following electronic care plans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with enthusiasm and professionalism
