A position has become available for a motivated and conscientious Shopfitting & Joinery Planner with a strong work ethic to join our friendly team based in Ossett, Wakefield.
The Role
We are looking for:
- A good communicator who is keen to learn.
- Someone who is conscientious and motivated.
- A strong eye for detail.
- Ideally, with experience of working in shopfitting/joinery planning.
- 2+ years’ experience of Solidworks.
- Experience of Autocad (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience of SAP/MRP (advantageous but not essential).
Role Responsibilities
- Obtain/create client drawings and prepare cutting lists/BOMs using personal judgement and initiative to establish what materials are needed and the best method of construction.
- Produce job cards/drawings for relevant departments, ensuring cards are complete and accurate information is given to enable production and manufacture of products
- Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective production of products.
- Inform of any discrepancies to relevant manager/department.
- Produce work to a high standard in a timely manner.
