Sheet Metal Factory Assistant / Trainee

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our busy sheet metal factory and start learning the trade. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in fabrication and ductwork manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assisting skilled sheet metal workers on site and in the workshop
- Helping with ceiling installation and holding ducting in position
- General factory duties and housekeeping
- Measuring, marking and preparing materials
- Using hand tools safely and correctly
- Supporting fabrication, assembly and installation tasks
- Jumping in where needed to help keep jobs moving
Requirements:
- Must be able to use basic hand tools
- General knowledge of workmanship and practical skills
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Physically fit (role involves lifting and manual work)
- Able to work as part of a team
Pay:
- Wage will be reviewed after a three-month trial period
