We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment within our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all office areas are tidy, sanitary, and presentable. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services. Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect all office surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and workstations
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across various office areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in communal areas such as kitchens, break rooms, and restrooms
- Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and stored appropriately after use
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Attention to detail with a high standard of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled timescales
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting light loads and standing for extended periods
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
Pay: £14.19 per hour
