Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plasterer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other finishing materials to interior and exterior surfaces, transforming raw structures into polished, durable finishes. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of plaster materials.
- Mix plaster, cement, or other materials accurately according to project specifications.
- Apply plaster using hand tools such as trowels, hawks, and floats, ensuring smooth, even finishes on walls and ceilings.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for mixing, sanding, or shaping plaster surfaces.
- Collaborate with bricklayers, masons, carpenters, roofers, and welders to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless project execution.
- Repair damaged surfaces by patching or reapplying plaster to maintain structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with various tools and materials in different environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools such as trowels, floats, and hawks used in plastering applications.
- Knowledge of bricklaying, masonry techniques, and general carpentry principles.
- Familiarity with power tools including mixers, sanders, and cutting equipment.
- Ability to perform roofing-related tasks or assist roofing teams as needed.
- Basic welding skills are a plus for specialized repair work or structural modifications.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality finishes under tight deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across trades.

Pay: £15.88-£25.37 per hour
