Linby Farm Catering are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the company. The main responsibilities of the role would be to load and unload the van and be the face of the company whilst out and about on the van serving customers.
Job Description –
- Strong Communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and other team members.
- Excellent Time management skills to ensure timely deliveries without compromising safety.
- Retain high standards of food hygiene and safety within the kitchen and vans
- Have a basic understanding of health and safety practices.
- Plan and follow efficient routes outlined by the GPS to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations whilst driving.
- Manage card transactions effectively in accordance with the companies’ procedures.
- Handle transactions with ease and operate the cash register efficiently.
- Adhere to COSHH, Food Safety and Allergen guidance.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
Skills and experience –
- Valid Full UK Driving Licence with 2 years plus driving experience
- Food Hygiene Training Level 2 onwards is desirable but not essential.
- Catering Experience (1 year plus) desirable but not essential.
