We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired results
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver tailored decorating solutions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations at all times
- Drive company vehicles to different job sites as needed, ensuring timely arrival and efficient job completion
- Communicate clearly with clients about project progress, timelines, and any adjustments needed during the work process
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Ability to operate various painting tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license with reliable driving skills for site visits and transportation of materials
- Fluency in English for effective communication with team members and clients
- Excellent communication skills to interpret project requirements and provide updates confidently
- Knowledge of safety standards related to painting and decorating work environments
- Basic understanding of construction processes is preferred but not mandatory
