Experienced Picker & Packer
Job Start: 1st week of July 2026.
Location: Blackburn
Contract: 2 Month Temporary Contract
Hours: Part-time - 20 hours per week - 2 days
We are hiring a reliable and experienced Picker & Packer to support our busy production team. This is a fixed 2 month temporary role, working 2 days (20 hours total).
This is a performance-based role within a fast-paced production environment. We require individuals who can work efficiently, stay focused, and maintain consistent output. Slow-paced working will not be suitable for this position.
We are looking for committed individuals who understand the importance of attendance and reliability. Production flow is critical to our operation, so punctuality and consistency are essential.
All successful candidates will be subject to a trial shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Final preparation of garments before packing (removing marks, trimming threads, quality checks)
- Neatly folding and packing items ready for dispatch
- Updating work sheets accurately and in real time
- Managing and maintaining an organised, efficient packing station
- Organising completed orders and moving boxes to designated areas
- Supporting general order fulfilment tasks as required
Working Hours
- 20 hours per week
- Weekends also
- Shifts structured on a 10H Shift - starting 9am.
Pay
National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage (age-dependent, in line with current UK legislation).
Requirements
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or garment handling role
- Must have sufficient English reading skills to accurately read order sheets and instructions
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Able to lift and move packed boxes (manual handling involved
- Strong attention to detail and presentation standards
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must be available for an in-person interview and short paid trial shift at our Blackburn facility
