Role: Apprentice Multi skilled Engineer, on at least 3rd year Apprenticeship course.
Based: Morton Mill, Llynclys, Oswestry.
Lloyds Animal Feeds are a family owned business with bases across the UK, who work with customers to produce a nutritional solution that provides efficient production of Dairy, Beef, Sheep and Poultry.
Lloyds Animal Feeds are invested in the future and are looking for an apprentice in the animal feeds sector, someone who feels they have good manual dexterity, enjoys working with their hands, along with a good attitude and willingness to learn. Preferable Electrical biased with previous experience in Engineering either through work or College.
Key Duties:
Working with and assisting experienced Engineers:
· Carry out breakdown repairs to production equipment, plant and services as requested.
· Assist in the completion of planned preventative maintenance and follow up rectification, ensuring documentation is completed to the required standard.
· Carrying out continuous improvement activities that contribute to gains in Safety, Quality and Productivity across the manufacturing process.
· Keep daily records of all work completed and all work pending.
· Monitor stores stock and usage.
· Comply with Health & Safety policy and standards.
· Take personal accountability for your own safety at work.
· Take reasonable care for your colleagues’ health and safety.
· Identify and report hazards, incidents and accidents.
· Keep work areas clean and tidy.
· Use all equipment in a safe manner, observing the duty not to misuse or interfere with anything provided in the interests of health and safety.
