We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a House Services Supervisor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of highquality facilities services within the Directorate of Estates and Facilities. You will supervise a House Services team to ensure excellent standards of cleaning, hygiene, facilities management and customer service across campus, working within a dynamic and inclusive environment.
This is a parttime (25 hours per week), permanent role, based on the University’s Oxford Road campus.
You will be responsible for:

Supervising the daytoday activities of the House Services team, ensuring service standards are maintained

Supporting staff management, guidance and performance in line with University policies and best practice
-
Assisting with stock control, equipment management and operational reporting
-
Supporting delivery of events and outofhours activities across campus
-
Promoting and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, equality, and environmental sustainability practices

Essential Criteria :

Relevant experience in facilities, cleaning or operational service environments

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including working with diverse groups

Ability to supervise staff and support effective team working

Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

A commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
Desirable Criteria :

Awareness of Health & Safety, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and Information Governance principles

Awareness of environmental sustainability in workplace operations
