We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record in hospitality management. Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist with staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Manage merchandising activities to optimise product displays and maximise sales opportunities
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and tact
- Monitor stock levels, organise inventory checks, and coordinate replenishment processes
- Implement promotional campaigns and sales initiatives effectively
- Implement Social Media campaigns and posts
- Maintain accurate administrative records including sales reports, staff schedules, and stock documentation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies at all times
Skills
- Proven management experience within hospitality, with supervising or team management responsibilities
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Organised with exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Sound organisational skills with experience in merchandising and administrative tasks
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously under pressure
- Leadership qualities combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
