Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Gardener/Handyman/woman to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform garden and landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes to complete gardening tasks efficiently
- Operate power tools like lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws safely and effectively
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Conduct routine property repairs including fixing fences, gates, or outdoor structures as needed
- Assist with general handyman tasks such as painting, assembling outdoor furniture or fixtures, and cleaning outdoor spaces
- Support seasonal projects like planting new beds or preparing gardens for different weather conditions
- Support maintenance team with indoor work where/when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance with growing knowledge of plant care and soil management
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor maintenance
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and their installation or repair
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for extended periods of activity
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to property upkeep
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
- Nice-to-have skills include previous experience working with landscaping equipment or certifications in horticulture or landscape maintenance
