The Logic Group is looking for an ambitious graduate to join our Project Management team in Maidstone.
This is an opportunity for someone at the beginning of their construction career who wants more than simply sitting in the background of a large consultancy. You will work directly with experienced Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and construction professionals and gain practical exposure to live projects from an early stage.

The Logic Group is an independent construction consultancy based in Kent, working with clients across the UK.
Our services include Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration, Employer's Agent services and Alternative Dispute Resolution. We work on a varied portfolio of construction projects including new-build, refurbishment, residential, education and commercial schemes.

The role
As a Graduate Assistant Project Manager, you will initially work alongside our senior team in the delivery of live construction projects.
Your responsibilities will develop with your experience and ability, but are likely to include:
- assisting with the management of construction projects from inception through to completion;
- attending client, design team and contractor meetings;
- preparing clear meeting minutes, action schedules and project reports;
- monitoring project programmes and key dates;
- coordinating information between clients, consultants and contractors;
- assisting with tendering, procurement and contractor appointments;
- supporting Contract Administration and Employer's Agent duties;
- undertaking site visits and monitoring progress;
- assisting with the management of project risks, actions and outstanding information;
- reviewing drawings, programmes and other project documentation;
- helping to ensure projects remain focused on programme, cost and quality; and
- gradually taking responsibility for your own projects as your experience develops.
This will not be a role where you spend several years simply observing others. We want you to become involved, ask questions, develop your judgement and progressively take ownership of the work you undertake.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for somebody with the right attitude and aptitude to develop into a professional Project Manager.
You will ideally have:
- a degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or another relevant construction discipline;
- either recently graduated or have up to approximately one year's relevant construction experience;
- a genuine interest in construction and the management of projects;
- good written and verbal communication skills;
- the confidence to communicate professionally with clients, consultants and contractors;
- good organisation and attention to detail;
- the ability to manage priorities and take responsibility for your own work;
- a practical and commercially aware approach;
- a willingness to learn and ask questions; and
- a full UK driving licence, or the ability to travel regularly to construction sites.
We are not expecting you to know everything. We are looking for someone intelligent, interested and willing to learn.

What we offer
- Salary of circa £32,000 per annum depending on experience
- 22 days' annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays per annum
