Shift Pattern: Picker - Sunday to Friday, 6:00 PM - 1/2:00 AM and 8pm - 3/4AM
8pm - 3/4AMShift Pattern: Driver - Monday to Saturday, 4:00 AM - Midday approx.
Hours: 20–40 per week
Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a fast-paced role in a thriving food warehouse? We are seeking Picker Packers and drivers to join our busy team. You’ll be responsible for accurately picking and packing food orders or delivering orders for commercial clients such as pubs and restaurants, ensuring all orders meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities (picker):
- Order Picking & Packing: Prepare food orders with accuracy and care.
- Quality Control: Check items to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
- Stock Handling: Safely load and unload delivery lorries and handle stock to avoid damage.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Team Support: Assist in training new team members when required.
Key Responsibilities (driver):
- Safely operate a company-provided van to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload pre-packed items with care, ensuring proper handling.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist with warehouse duties, such as inventory management, when required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a warehouse picking/packing environment (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for completing tasks accurately.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Transport to Topsham is essential due to the location and shift times.
