Auto Rise Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and hands-on 3.5T Recovery Driver to join our growing team.
Previous recovery experience is preferred but not essential. If you have good knowledge of cars, enjoy driving, meeting different people and dealing with different challenges, we are willing to train the right person.
The Role
Vehicle recovery isn’t just driving from A to B. Every job can be different – from a straightforward collection to an accident-damaged, non-running, locked or difficult-to-load vehicle.
Your role will include:
* Driving a 3.5T recovery vehicle
* Collecting and transporting cars
* Safely loading and securing vehicles
* Using winches, skates and other recovery equipment
* Dealing with non-running and accident-damaged vehicles
* Communicating professionally with customers and our office team
* Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
* Looking after your truck and recovery equipment
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of recovery experience. Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are just as important.
You should be:
* Confident and experienced behind the wheel
* Interested in cars with a good basic understanding of vehicles
* Practical and able to solve problems
* Comfortable getting your hands dirty
* Friendly and confident dealing with customers
* Reliable, punctual and professional
* Able to work independently and use your own initiative
* Flexible with working hours and weekends
* A team player who wants to develop with the company
* Hold a full UK driving licence
Hours & Pay
Full-time – 12-hour shifts
Competitive pay depending on experience, with overtime and additional weekend shifts available for those who want them.
