Seccl is the Octopus-owned embedded investment platform, on a mission to help more people invest, and invest well.
We’re building the infrastructure behind the next generation of investing. Our technology already powers some of the UK’s most ambitious fintechs, banks, financial advisers and wealth firms, with close to a million investors relying on Seccl-powered platforms. And we’re now expanding into Europe.
We’ve got a proven product, strong momentum and big ambitions for what comes next: helping more household-name brands launch and scale investment propositions, entering new markets and replacing outdated investment infrastructure with technology that’s faster, simpler and built for scale.
We’re proud to be part of Octopus, one of the UK’s most successful privately held investment and technology groups. That gives us the backing and long-term perspective to build something substantial, while keeping the pace and energy of a high-growth business. Seccl and Octopus are both B Corp certified and share a belief that profit and purpose should go hand in hand.
If you want to help shape the future of investing in the UK and across Europe, you’ll be in good company.
Seccl is entering a pivotal stage of growth. Almost one million investors rely on our technology, we power investment propositions for brands including Monzo, Tide and MoneySuperMarket, and our expansion into Europe is underway.
We’ve proved our model can scale. Now we want to accelerate, winning bigger customers, deepening our existing partnerships and opening up new markets. We believe Seccl can become the defining investment infrastructure business of its generation, and our chief commercial officer will play a central role in getting us there.
You’ll join our executive leadership team and lead sales, account management, customer success and marketing. You’ll set our commercial strategy, build the organisation for our next stage of growth and stay close to the customers, opportunities and partnerships that matter most.
You’ll also help shape Seccl’s wider direction, working closely with product, engineering, finance, operations, risk and compliance to make sure customer insight and commercial opportunity influence where we invest and what we build.

We value openness, curiosity and different perspectives. You’ll have the freedom to challenge how things are done, experiment with better ways of working and take real ownership of your impact.
Interviewing is a two-way thing. We want you to have plenty of opportunity to get to know Seccl, the role and the people you’d be working with, just as we want to get to know you.
Following an initial conversation with our Talent team, we expect the process to include:
First stage: 45-minute interview with our CEO
Second stage: 45-minute interview with our executive chair and chief product officer
Third stage: 45-minute interview with our commercial director, followed by 45 minutes with our people partnering and development lead, focused on your leadership approach and experience
Final stage: a live business case with members of our executive team, focused on strategic thinking, commercial judgement and problem-solving
We’ll only close the role once we have enough applications progressing to the next stage, so we’d encourage you to apply when you’re ready.
We want to build a diverse and inclusive company full of brilliant people with different skills, experiences and perspectives. All applicants will be considered without regard to age, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or parental status, national origin, veteran status, neurodiversity or disability.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick every box. We’d love to hear from you.
