About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Purchasing Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across departments within a well-established and growing business.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing function -supporting stock availability, maintaining supplier relationships, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating and processing accurate purchase orders
- Checking order confirmations (price, quantity and availability)
- Monitoring stock levels in line with sales trends
- Chasing overdue purchase orders and responding to urgent requests
- Resolving invoice queries and discrepancies
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
- Supporting sourcing and development of new suppliers
- Adjusting orders to achieve cost savings through bulk purchasing
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring departmental procedures are followed
- Supporting ISO 9001 quality standards and continuous improvement

Pay: £25,610.65 per year
