Job description: Driver HGV 2
Hours: Week 1: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Week 2: Mon-Thurs 7:30am-5pm Fri 7:30am – 2pm
Holidays: 32 Days incl Bank Holidays
Position
Due to retirement, we have vacant the position of HGV 2 driver. The position is varied and requires someone with the aptitude to move between jobs quickly as situations arise and work using their own initiative. The main aspects of the position are working as a driver using 3.5t drop side vehicles, sometimes towing and also driving 7.5t and 26t HGV’s. The position includes the use of a company van (3.5t) for commuting to and from work.
Requirements
Clean HGV Class 2 driving license is required. Forklift and IPAF license would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given.
Additional
There will be occasional times when out of standard hours work is required, for example delivering and collecting hire items to sites that are working out of standard hours.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £31,000 per year to £32,000 + Company Van
Pay: £31,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
