Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Nursery Team Leader to inspire and guide our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate nursery staff to deliver exceptional childcare and early education experiences
- Coordinate daily activities, ensuring they align with developmental goals and safety standards
- Support staff training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on children’s progress and addressing any concerns
- Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety policies, and licensing requirements
- Oversee the planning and implementation of educational programs that stimulate learning and development
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and reporting to ensure smooth nursery operations
Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting
- Extensive experience working with children, preferably in early childhood education or childcare roles
- Strong understanding of nursery practices, child development principles, and health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, parents, and children
- Childcare qualifications or certifications relevant to early childhood education are highly desirable
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation or outreach responsibilities
- Passionate about fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play and exploration
Pay: £12.71-£13.70 per hour
