Fleet Maintenance Technician (LCV)

A growing specialist fleet operator is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to join its workshop team supporting a modern fleet of light commercial vehicles.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a varied role with a strong focus on diagnostics, preventative maintenance and vehicle reliability.
The Role
- Carry out servicing, inspections and repairs on a fleet of modern light commercial vehicles
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete preventative maintenance programmes
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and compliance inspections
- Carry out road tests following repairs
- Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation
- Assist with parts identification and ordering
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
About You
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience maintaining vans, LCVs, fleet vehicles or commercial vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship
Desirable
- MOT Tester qualification
- Manufacturer training or accreditation
- Fleet maintenance experience
- Welding or fabrication experience
