Job Title: Technical Operations Administrator

Role Purpose
To support the Process Validation Engineer and Product Development Engineer with day-to-day administrative and technical tasks, including documentation, validation activities, shopfloor trials, and basic technical drawings.
This is a hands-on development role, with training provided in CAD and technical processes.
Responsibilities
Documentation Support
- Manufacturing Process Records (MPRs)
- Material Preparation Documents
- Validation protocols and reports
- Ensure documents are accurate, clearly formatted and stored correctly
- Make updates following engineer instruction
Validation & Trial Support - Assist engineers during:
- Process validations
- Engineering trials
- New product runs
- Help prepare paperwork and materials ahead of trials
- Record data and observations during activities
- Carry out basic checks in line with instructions
Technical Drawing & CAD (Training Provided)
- Product drawings
- Layouts and basic designs
- Learn to use CAD software (AutoCADLT)
- Maintain drawing files and revision records
- Work from engineer guidance to produce simple drawings
General Technical Support
- Validation files
- Trial records
- Technical documentation
- Support engineers with day-to-day tasks
- Assist in keeping work areas and records audit-ready
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Good attention to detail
- Organised and reliable
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
Desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Interest in engineering or product development
- Basic understanding of technical drawings (not essential)
Training & Development
- Training provided in:
- CAD and technical drawing
- Validation processes
- Documentation standards
- Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in:
- Engineering trials
- Product development activities
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
