Workshop Support Logistics Specialist Vehicles
£12.00–£16.00 per hour depending on experience and skills
Hopkins Motorsport Ltd, based just outside Bristol, specialises in the design, manufacture, refurbishment, rental and sale of bespoke race transporters, exhibition vehicles and specialist commercial vehicles for customers throughout the UK and Europe.
We are looking for a practical, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our workshop team.
This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day running of our specialist vehicle manufacturing business. You'll help keep our workshops, offices and customer vehicles clean, organised and ready for production while supporting the team with general workshop and logistics duties.
This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a good job and is looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to develop new skills.
The role includes
- General workshop and office cleaning
- Cleaning and preparing race transporters and customer vehicles
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
- Supporting goods-in, including unloading and moving deliveries
- Moving materials and equipment around the workshop
- Stock organisation and general workshop duties
- Assisting the production team where required
Forklift experience and the ability to safely move materials around the workshop would be an advantage.

A forklift licence, previous goods-in experience or experience working within a workshop, warehouse, agricultural or engineering environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Due to our location, applicants must have their own reliable transport to and from work.
Working hours
Monday to Thursday: 7.30 am – 5.30 pm
Friday: 7.30 am – 3.00 pm
Flexible working
Flexible start and finish times can be discussed for school runs or other family commitments where practical.
During the summer months, where workloads allow, we can also offer additional flexibility with earlier starts and finishes.
Additional hours are regularly available and are paid at your normal hourly rate.
