Duties
- Operate flatbed trucks and recovery vehicles with precision, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Safely recover, transport, and deliver vehicles or equipment from accident sites or storage facilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of recovery vehicles before and after trips to ensure optimal condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and emergency responders to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies
- Assist in securing loads on flatbeds and ensure proper handling of various types of recovered assets
- Follow all protocols for roadside assistance, vehicle recovery procedures, and accident scene management
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid Class 2 (or equivalent) license
- Prior delivery driver experience, preferably involving recovery or roadside assistance work
- Familiarity with flatbed trucking operations and vehicle recovery techniques
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and best practices for commercial driving
- Ability to operate recovery equipment safely and efficiently under various conditions
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
