Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, fitting, and finishing kitchens with precision and care. Your expertise will help transform spaces into functional and stylish environments that meet our clients’ expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen units, cabinets, countertops, and appliances with accuracy
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete fitting tasks efficiently and safely
- Conduct carpentry and joinery work to ensure seamless installation of kitchen components
- Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting materials to specifications for custom fittings
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, or construction painting as needed for comprehensive kitchen setups
- Lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper posture and adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met within scheduled timelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or related trades within the construction or renovation industry
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment for fitting tasks
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, roofing, and construction painting is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
- Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are preferred but not mandatory
