PHC are a well-established family-run business specialising in the distribution of components for heating and cooling systems. As one of the market leaders in our industry, we are further expanding our team in Bristol and have a great opportunity in our warehousing team for the right candidate.
Based out of our central-Bristol warehouse near Ikea, the role will see you performing deliveries to select PHC branches located in the South-West, Wales or the Midlands. You’ll be driving one of our fleet of well-equipped, modern vehicles such as Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter or 3,500kg Luton. As you would expect, we are looking for applicants with a full UK driving licence.
Offering great variety, the role also entails a small amount of basic warehousing work such as packing and loading products onto the vehicles.
- Your Nightly duties will include, but are not limited to;
- Ensuring that all deliverers are taken to each destination safely.
- Ensuring stock is picked correctly and booked out before dispatch
- Ensuring advice notes are signed by receipt of orders from customers ad filed accordingly
- Vehicles are refuelled
- Ensuring drivers logs are filled out accurately
- Reporting all Vehicle faults.
- Ensuring that all buildings and lock boxes that you deal with are left securely.
Your role includes keeping the company vehicle presentable and clean at all times.
Your role includes being aware of and reporting any security matters during your shifts.
The successful applicant will have the following:
- Full UK Driving License
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Teamworking skills
- Must be trustworthy and security conscious
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5:00PM – 2:00AM plus overtime.
