We're recruiting for one of the largest FM companies in the UK to work on a brand new healthcare contract after a successful mobilisation as a Maintenance Electrician. In this role you will join a brand new team within the last 12 months of engineers carrying out various pieces of planned and reactive maintenance as well as supporting the wider team and ensuring the highest quality customer experience.
In this role you will be working on a healthcare contract for a well known health and care facility in Ilford.

Job responsibilities for a Maintenance Electrician:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across the estate
- Fault finding, testing, and repairing electrical systems, distribution boards, lighting, power circuits, and control panels
- Maintaining emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, and other electrical building services
- Supporting compliance with electrical regulations and safe systems of work, including permit-to-work procedures
- Working alongside subcontractors and specialist engineers to complete maintenance and project works
- Completing maintenance records, job sheets, testing certificates, and compliance documentation
Experience/Requirements for a Maintenance Electrician:
- Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Experience within commercial maintenance, facilities management, or healthcare environments (Ideal, not essential)
- Strong knowledge of electrical building services, fault finding, and planned preventative maintenance
- Understanding of compliance and safe working practices within live environments
