Role: Food Production Worker – Evening
Pay rate: £12.71ph + Evening shift allowance of £10 per evening
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 03:00pm – 11:30pm. Overtime if required. You will have a 30-minutes of breaks unpaid.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Completing and maintaining production records and operational documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supporting the administration of production processes by ensuring paperwork is completed clearly and in line with company procedures.
- Monitoring production activities and recording relevant information to support operational and compliance requirements.
- Assisting with the hands-on handling and processing of poultry products when required.
- Maintaining organised records and ensuring documentation is completed in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Consists of hands-on operation of handling and processing poultry.
- Working in a controlled cold temperature environment. (Temperature controlled room: 8°c to 12°c. Fridges: 0°c to 4°c. Blast Freezer: -20°c to-25°c. Holding Freezer: -18°c)
- Working with a metal detector and following procedures.
- Operating machinery and overseeing production to ensure the company meets its targets.
- Picking and packing products.
- Checking the quality of the finished product.
- Packing various chicken products into appropriate packaging.
- Moving goods to storage area.
- Maintaining a clean working environment.
- Product recognition and training will be given.
- All PPE will be provided.
- Adhering to relevant health and safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products.
Requirements:
- Basic food production or working withing Food manufacturing setting experience required.
- Flexibility if overtime is required.
Essential:
- A strong understanding of written and spoken English is essential, as the role involves handling and completing a significant amount of production documentation and paperwork.
- Willingness to adapt to new working practices & processes.
- Reliable & punctual.
- Must have good levels of numeracy & literacy.
- Excellent attention to detail & time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, organise and prioritise responsibilities.
