We're looking for an organised and proactive Office Admin to become an important part of our growing team at our headquarters in Newry.
We're an electrical switchgear manufacturing company that's growing quickly. If you're someone who likes variety, enjoys helping people and takes pride in keeping everything running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
No two days are the same in this role. You'll be the first face people see when they visit our office, the first voice they hear when they call, and the person who helps keep everything behind the scenes running effortlessly.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Office Administrator, you'll play a key role in the day to day running of the office by:
- Welcoming visitors and creating a friendly first impression for everyone who visits our office.
- Answering and directing phone calls professionally.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Ordering office supplies, stationery, kitchen stock and other essentials to ensure the office is always well stocked.
- Coordinating meeting and supporting with meeting preparation.
- Maintaining accurate records, filing systems and company documentation.
- Supporting our HR team with general administrative tasks.
- Assisting our Marketing team with administrative support when required, including helping with company events.
- Helping organise staff activities, celebrations and office events.
- Using Microsoft Office and other business systems to prepare documents, spreadsheets and reports.
- Handling confidential information professionally and with discretion.
- Supporting colleagues across the business with general administrative tasks.
- Looking for ways to improve processes.
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in finding the right person than someone who ticks every single box.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience in an office administration, receptionist or customer service role.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A friendly, approachable and positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Good attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive approach.
- A willingness to learn and adapt as the business continues to grow.

Pay: £10.85-£13.75 per hour
