Wherever possible, we build consistent venue teams, allowing our Door Supervisors to get to know the premises, management team, customers, procedures and colleagues they work alongside.
The Role
As a Door Supervisor with BS1 Facilities Limited, you may be responsible for:
- Managing venue entry and exit points
- Checking identification and carrying out searches
- Managing queues and customer flow
- Monitoring customer behaviour and identifying developing issues
- Recognising vulnerability and safeguarding concerns
- Using communication and de-escalation to manage conflict
- Responding professionally to incidents
- Working closely with venue management and staff
- Supporting colleagues throughout the shift
- Completing accurate incident, refusal and operational reports
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and presentation
- Helping create a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment for customers
Our teams work with the venue, not separately from it.
Hours & Availability
We have regular work available across Bristol venues.
Typical shifts operate between:
21:00 and 05:30
Work is available Monday to Sunday, although Friday and Saturday night availability is required.
We welcome applications from people looking for:
- 1–2 regular shifts per week
- Weekend work
- 20 - 30+ hours per week
- Additional shifts when available
The level of work offered will depend on your availability, performance and operational requirements.

Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
