ABOUT OUR PUB & HOTEL
Built in 1920, the Hurtwood Inn has been the hub of village life for many years. Having been expanded over the years, the Hurtwood Inn now boasts 15 boutique bedrooms, a bustling bar and relaxed restaurant in the heart of the Surrey Hills.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive Hotel Assistant to join our team for 25-30 hours per week. There will be a variety of shifts including housekeeping, breakfast and possibly evening shifts finishing at 8pm.
For the right candidate, we are willing to work around prior commitments and fit the role to you as much as is possible.
Live in is unfortunately not available for this position.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Good customer service skills when greeting, checking in and interacting with guests
- Basic computer skills (excel, emails, etc.) (experience with Little Hotelier, Booking.com and Expedia is an extra bonus)
- Good attention to detail and taking pride in your work
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of our tight-knit team
- Prior experience is preferred but not essential - attitude is the most important thing!
- Must be able to work weekend and bank holiday shifts, with the role having flexible hours through the week
Most of all, we are looking for someone who isn't afraid of hard work, who wants to get stuck in and be a valuable member of the team!
