Job Title: Part-Time Micropub Supervisor
Location: West Malling
Hours: Part-Time (1–3 shifts per week based on preference | 20+ age requirement)
We are a very small community micro-pub in the heart of West Malling with a reputation for customer service. Despite being so small, we are ranked #1 for “nightlife” in the village on TripAdvisor, our success comes down to two absolute priorities: exceptional real ale quality and top-tier customer service.
Weekdays are quiet and conversational while weekends are busy and fast paced.
We are looking for a confident, energetic, and proactive Supervisor to lead our shifts, run daily operations, and keep our standards high.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Shift Leadership: Overseeing daily operations, running shifts smoothly, and directing non-supervisory team members.
- Bar & Hospitality: Serving drinks, chatting with locals, and resolving any customer concerns with warmth and efficiency.
- Chiller Room & Hygiene: Ensuring meticulous venue and line cleaning standards to maintain our pristine beer quality.
- Admin & Keyholding: Managing opening/closing duties and daily cashing up.
- Multitasking: Seamlessly balancing customer chat, team leadership, and floor maintenance during busy services.
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, outgoing, and energetic personality.
- Proven ability to multitask and take initiative without being asked.
- A genuine passion for high customer care standards and great real ale.
- Supervisory experience in hospitality or retail is preferred.
