Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in using various hand and power tools. As a Production Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal components to meet production specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete welding tasks.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques, particularly Mig welding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools relevant to welding tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble components accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
