Duties
- Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or autism, ensuring they feel included and supported throughout the day.
- Help create a safe, welcoming classroom environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring or mentoring to children who require additional support with literacy, numeracy, or social skills.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with teachers and parents to inform personalized learning plans.
- Foster positive communication with children through active listening, encouragement, and clear instructions.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for children with special educational needs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with young children in educational or caregiving settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience supporting children with disabilities or autism is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, teachers, and support staff.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and tutor children to enhance their learning experiences.
- Passion for early childhood development and creating inclusive learning environments.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification are preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to fostering positive developmental outcomes for all children.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,300.00 per year
