Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, motivated and hard worker to clean the outside of our buses at our Dumbarton Depot. You will work on a 2-week rota which may involve some days cleaning the internals of buses as required.
Every Bus is brush washed by hand using a power jet hose system and very labour intensive. You will be required to be in peak physical condition with the ability to work outside in cold/hot temperatures.
Buses will require to be moved around the Depot for next day allocations and cleaning purposes, we would prefer candidates have a PSV Licence but not essential. General Driving experience is essential for this role. Previous cleaning experience will be required and you will have to demonstrate this.
You will be able to recognise visible defects/body work damage on buses which may affect their ability to go on the road the next day. You will report this to the Duty Manager.
Your secondary responsibility will be to keep the Depot Yard and Workshop areas tidy and clean at all times. This will include sweeping/washing the yard, picking up rubbish, collecting coolant cans around the yard, the driver canteen and toilets.
During periods of good weather and less exterior cleaning of buses are required, you be required to act more on your secondary responsibility as above.

Working Days/Hours
Week 1: Mon to Fri from 20:00 until midnight (20 Hours)
Week 2: Mon, Wed & Fri from 20:00 to midnight and Sat & Sun from 20:00 to midnight (20 Hours)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
