Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled renewable solar pv installations team to join us on a self emplyed basis . The ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This role requires detail-oriented individuals who can work independently, ensuring that all electrical renewable installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently. the team will be responsible for the roof works, solar PV and battery
Duties
- Install domestic Solar PV grid tied and battery systems
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Use power tools and hand tools to carry out installations and repairs effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
- submit job on software before leaving site - this is primarily through photograpic form submisions via phone or tablet.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an established solar Pv installations team.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Leve 2 and 3 city and guilds
- level 3 NVQ
- BPEC in SPV and battery storage
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to electrical work is essential.
Pay: £800.00-£1,600.00 per day
