We’re seeking an experienced LGV Mechanic to join a busy and supportive team in Aylesbury. This role is perfect for a skilled technician looking for a hands-on role maintaining and repairing ambulances, cars, vans and electric vehicles to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on a variety of HGVs, including trucks, trailers, and other commercial vehicles.
Job Details
- Salary: £28.00 per hour for temp goes to 47,500 when permanent (potential option for overtime)
- Working 4 on 4 off – 6:30am to 6pm (so involves working weekends)
- Contract: Temp to Perm – 12-week temporary placement with potential to transfer to permanent for the right candidate
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on LGV ambulances
- Diagnosing faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and ready for service
- Maintaining accurate records of work carried out
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an LGV or ambulance mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repairs
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
