Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential settings. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, piping, and heating systems according to industry standards and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and heating equipment to identify issues before they escalate
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble and modify systems as needed
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs
- Read technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical diagrams to accurately execute projects
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each job
- Collaborate with team members and clients to troubleshoot problems efficiently and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing and heating system installation and maintenance in commercial or residential environments
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and assembly processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques useful for framing or supporting systems during installation
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
- Gas Safe
- Minimum 3 Years experience as a qualified engineer
