Job Overview
We currently have 6 houses and are looking for a Cladding Installer. Your expertise will contribute to creating visually striking, weather-resistant facades that stand the test of time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your construction skills and technical knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
Duties
- Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of cladding systems
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble cladding panels using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Install cladding materials securely onto building exteriors, ensuring alignment, levelness, and adherence to safety standards
- Use welding techniques where necessary to join metal components or reinforce structures
- Perform heavy lifting safely to handle large panels or materials during installation processes
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Collaborate with other construction trades such as roofing, masonry, plumbing, and carpentry teams to ensure seamless project execution
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings for precise installation guidance
- Skilled in welding techniques for metal fabrication and reinforcement tasks
- Experienced with hand tools and power tools used in construction and fabrication work
- Strong background in construction-related fields such as roofing, masonry, carpentry or plumbing is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics and safety protocols
- Knowledge of fabrication processes for custom cladding components
- Familiarity with safety standards related to working at heights and on construction sites
